Twinz
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 · Published by Crownerv
Twinz is a party game for two players. This page explains what information the app and its
server handle, in plain language.
What we collect
- The name you type in. When you create or join a game, you enter a display
name. It's shown only to your game partner, for the duration of that game.
- Game data. The questions, your answers, and scores exist only in the
server's memory while a game is in progress. A room and everything in it is automatically and
permanently deleted a few minutes after the game ends or goes idle.
- Standard connection logs. Like any server on the internet, ours briefly logs
connection information (such as IP address) for operating and securing the service. This is not
linked to any profile or identity — we don't have user accounts.
- On-device preferences. Your chosen language and (in the app) the server
address you're connected to are stored only on your own device, never sent anywhere as personal
data.
- Questions you've already seen. So Twinz can deal fresh questions, your device
keeps a list of the question IDs it has shown you (for example "food-12"). When you create or
join a game, that list is sent to the server only to choose that game's questions. It holds no
name or other personal data, the server does not store it, and clearing your browser or app data
erases it.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-up, or login
- No advertising or ad tracking
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
- No access to your camera, contacts, or location
Children's privacy
Twinz is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention
Game rooms and everything in them are temporary and are deleted automatically shortly after a
game ends. We do not keep a long-term record of names, answers, or scores.
Your rights
Since Twinz doesn't maintain accounts or persistent personal data, there is generally nothing to
export or delete beyond what already expires on its own. If you have questions about this policy
or believe we're holding information about you, contact us using the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
